To celebrate learning the letters Ss and Dd, we had a kindergarten Song and Dance party.

Fun Fall Party! We read, Where's My Mummy? then played, Wrap the Mummy game. Table 6 students were the first ones to get their "mummy" all wrapped up! Way to display some good teamwork table 6! Then we played, Hide the Jack-o-Lantern. We made a Halloween craft. Then, we ate a yummy treat and received a goodie bag filled with super fun stuff! Thank you Eith twins! And then, ended our party with a fun Halloween dance party song.
Fun Friday was all about Scarecrow fun! Everyone got a chance to use Mrs. Hlad's Scarecrow puppet. Since we have some little artists in our class, we watched a Youtube video on how to draw a scarecrow. Everyone did a fantastic job of following directions and drawing a cute scarecrow!
We are thankful for each other and our feast!

Dowds PTO Christmas Party Time Fun! 12-14-18
Christmas Fun: Our Elf on the Shelf, Rascal, brought us some Art Center coloring pages from the North Pole AND a present from SANTA for the whole class! It was a box of Legos for our Makerspace Center! Yippee!! Santa and Rascal Rock! The Polar Express movie is even more special when watching it with friends!
Christmas Party Fun! Cookie decorating was awesome! So many sprinkles to choose from thanks to Lucas's grandma! We had a blast playing "Unwrap a Tootsie Roll with Mittens On" Race. The girls won, but the boys were a close second place. We then played some "Santa Bingo" and got to get some candy out of the Santa bowl for a Bingo prize. The Christmas Carol whole school sing along was super fun, thanks to Mrs. Strickler and the third and fourth graders performing for us! We loved opening up and seeing all the super duper cool goodie bag gifts Jonah and his mom made for us! Thanks, Jonah...we hope you get better over break! Then, we made Santa faces! Whew...that was fun!
100th Day of Kindergarten Fun! Queens and Kings of 100th Day of School crowns. 100 day brunch: making the number 100 with a piece of banana and mini donuts. Pinatas- so much fun! We figured out we each could pick up four pieces of candy. 100 day centers, book, necklace, 100 collections, and ended it all with a counting to 100 DANCE PARTY!

Valentine's Day Fun: Ms. Robyn read some awesome stories to us, giving and receiving Valentines was SO MUCH FUN! Valentine games, Cherry 7-UP floats and yummy cupcakes for treats!
Dr. Seuss Fun: We love Dr. Seuss and his funny, silly rhyming books!
We had fun designing a Leprechaun trap this week! We didn't catch him, but he made quite a mess in our room! He's not too naughty, he left them each a chocolate gold coin.
Little Buckeye Museum and Carousel Fun!
We didn't get a chance to go outside and fly a real kite on the first day of Spring, but we had fun making our edible kites!
Easter Time Fun! The Easter Bunny came and hid some eggs for us to hunt! Jelly Bean Math! Easter Bunny Race Cars edible craft! Find the Easter Bunny game and watching Peter Rabbit the movie!
We LOVED reusing materials we might have thrown away to make a fun guitar for us to "rock out" on...Earth Day Rocks!
The Renaissance Theater is AMAZING! We had a good time watching the play, Stuart Little.
